Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 September 2026
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Cinapp, the operator of Cinapp. By creating an account or using Cinapp you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate details. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly at hello@cinapp.app if you think your account has been compromised. One account is for one person; do not share it.
3. Subscriptions, trials and billing
New accounts include a 7-day free trial with no card required. After the trial you need a paid subscription to keep using the core features. The public plan is A$29 per month or A$290 per year, and includes up to 20 application packs per month. Coaching and mentoring arrangements may differ, in which case the terms of that arrangement apply.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing area, and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Fees are in Australian dollars.
Except where the Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise, payments already made are not refundable. If something has gone wrong, contact us and we will work it out with you.
We may change our prices. Existing subscribers will get at least 30 days notice by email before a change affects their renewal.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload and create: your resumes, job records, notes and the documents Cinapp generates for you. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, process and display that content in order to run the service for you, including sending it to the AI provider described in our Privacy Policy.
You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload. Where you record details about other people, such as recruiters or hiring managers, you are responsible for handling their information lawfully and professionally.
5. AI-generated material
Cinapp uses AI to draft resumes, cover letters, interview preparation and outreach. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for a particular role. Everything Cinapp produces is a draft. You are responsible for reviewing and editing it, for the accuracy of every claim you make to an employer, and for anything you send.
Cinapp is a tool, not a recruitment agency or a career, legal or migration adviser. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers or any particular outcome.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misrepresent your qualifications, experience or identity in documents you create with Cinapp;
- upload unlawful, harmful or infringing material, or malware;
- attempt to breach, probe or disrupt the service, other accounts or our infrastructure;
- scrape, resell or redistribute the service or its content, including course and library material;
- use automated means to place unreasonable load on the service, or work around usage limits;
- use Cinapp to break any law or the terms of any site you capture content from.
7. Coaching and mentoring
If a coach or mentor enrols you, they can see your progress, your applications and the documents you produce, so they can support you. Course, checklist and library material remains our property or that of its authors, and is licensed to you for personal use only for as long as you are enrolled.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Cinapp available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove features, and we may carry out maintenance. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to retrieve your documents.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Cinapp at any time and delete your account from Settings, which permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, is used unlawfully, or puts the service or other users at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first.
10. Consumer guarantees and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, Cinapp is provided as is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost opportunities, lost employment, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use Cinapp after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
